One of the tactics I use with my clients is educating new home and remodeling buyers on
the difference between low cost and low price.
I subscribe to the NAHB Housekeys newsletter (for consumers) and found this great article
you should use on your website/blog and when meeting with prospects. It’s a comparison
of home maintenance and energy costs.
- It compares how much homeowners spend each month for maintenance costs
- There is a calculation showing how much homeowners spend on energy too
Everything is broken down between new homes (4 years old or newer) and used homes.
This is a great tool to help your prospects logically justify acquiring a new vs used home.
